Resolved Question: What is a Cinderella?

I hopped onto the UNI bandwagon after Iowa's 10 wins didn't impress the NCAA committee, and just couldn't take this term anymore. Iowa gets a 9 seed and beats Kansas, they'd get top story for one night and a few million haters from office pools everywhere, but Northern Iowa is Cinderella?? First off they were 28-4 with both Conf. Championships and were MUCH better than the 5-seed Drake team two years ago (same conference). Also, UNI never really made it to the ball. The Final Four is the ball in the big dance, not a Bill Selfish team that ignores 35:00 of clock. Is a 30-win team who goes to the Sweet 16 a Cinderella or should they have stopped when they invented the term "underrated"? IMO Cornell and St. Marys should remind everybody exactly how special George Mason was, not share a classic sports term with Northern Iowa. After all, I thought there were 3 stepsisters and only one Cinderella, not vice-versa. BONUS: Does this mean college hoops has, by far, the WORST cliche in all of sports?
