Resolved Question: Parts of new jersey feel like the south/midwest?

New jersey is a state that has midwestern and southern ares.south jersey is below the mason dixon line.Some People in south jersey have southern accents.You'll see more confederate flags in south jersey than you would expect to find in all of Mississippi (there was a study done by the culture department about this) Northwest jersey is similar to PA and northeast ohio in culture and topography. Matawan new jersey was called a midwestern town in a book about the 1916 shark attacks. Even Old bridge, spotswood have a lot of german americans and is similar to the eastern midwest. Allaire state park would fit in perfectly in Wisconsin or Kansas, Holmdel park looks like it should be in Nebraska or Iowa.I lived there so i know and i am serious.
